What does an automatic gate cost on the Sunshine Coast?
The total depends on the gate dimensions and design, supporting structure, automation, power and any civil work. A new complete gate and a motor-only replacement are different scopes. Ask for an itemised proposal after the entrance has been assessed.
Can my existing driveway gate be automated?
It may be suitable after the gate, supports and movement are checked. Describe any sagging, binding or damage and provide photos so the provider can assess the gate as well as the proposed motor.
Should I choose a sliding or swing gate?
The driveway layout, available side travel or swing clearance, levels and use guide the choice. Share photos and approximate dimensions, then discuss suitable arrangements with the installer.
Is solar power an option for my gate?
Solar can be assessed against sunlight, shade, usage and the system’s power requirements. It is a site-specific choice and should be considered alongside the gate operator, battery and connected controls.
Do you accept repair and commercial enquiries?
Yes. Explain the equipment and symptom for a repair, or the traffic and access requirements for a commercial site. A provider’s capability, coverage and availability for that particular work must be confirmed.
